Driver & Countryside Worker

Location: Woodbridge, Ipswich, or Needham Market

Type: Temporary leading to permanent, Part time or Full-Time

Hours: Typically 12 hours per day, Monday to Friday (some weekends during peak periods)

Role Overview

We’re seeking a dependable and physically fit individual to join our countryside team as a Driver & General Countryside Worker. This dual-role position involves transporting staff and equipment to sites across East Anglia and actively participating in a variety of outdoor agricultural tasks. Although this is straightforward it can be very hard work & physically demanding. Excellent stamina is required. See also the General Countryside Worker Job Description.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport staff and equipment to and from work sites
• Perform field-based tasks including:
  • Field walking
  • Sheeting
  • Seed processing
  • Potato grading
• Maintain punctuality

Requirements

• Full UK driving licence with a minimum of 3 years driving experience
• Physically fit and comfortable with outdoor work in all weather
• Punctual, reliable, and a team player
• Must live in or near Woodbridge, Ipswich, or Needham Market
• Eligible to work in the UK
