We take a risk-based approach to working when the weather is not on our side. This means we change our working practices to keep all our staff safe and continue working.
If it is hot we will change our working hours to start early but also finish early to avoid the heat. This could mean starting on the fields by about 5am and finishing before the heat becomes a problem. It is compulsory to keep covered up, wear a hat and sunblock. You should also keep hydrated.
If the forecast is for thunderstorms all day we may decide to cancel the day or go to a different location. If the forecast is for rain it is unlikely we will stop.Share This:
