New Season Recruiting

So Spring is here and the crops are growing fast. That means we will be starting our season next month. From May we require field staff to walk the crops pulling out the unwanted plants. If you require work then take a look at the jobs page. http://www.summerfieldwork.com/jobs Most of our jobs are flexible and you only need to confirm the day before which will suit you if you have other commitments. If you don’t have your own transport we may be able to pick you up depending on where you live.

Stable Groom Wanted

Are you interested in or have experience of horses? If so we have an opportunity to join a small team as a part time stable groom. You will need to have self-motivation, discipline & commitment as there maybe times where you’ll work alone. Ideally you will be a proficient rider. You should also be physically fit and happy to work in all weathers. You will definitely need your own transport as the stables are in the sticks so public transport is not an option.

Update: 11th Feb 2017 – This position has now been filled.

Work Boots

These are the kind of boots which are suitable for wearing when working in the fields when it is dry. They should have steel toe caps. You should not wear trainers as they are not up to the job and will not protect your feet.

If it has been raining it is better to wear Wellington Boots again steel toe caps.
